ANCHOR MIXER - OTHER FEATURES

1. MIXING ACTION - Anchor gives you a better mixing action because of the curved,
forged, first and secondary steel blades and paddles which are scientifically designed
to mix the contents of the drum in the quickest and most thorough manner.

2. LARGE CAPACITY - The overside and wide open drum (an exclusive Anchor feature)
offers a large target to shoot at when shoveling sand and allows easier cleaning.
|
3. SPEED REDUCER - It is constructed of precision heat treated alloy steel gears
and hardened alloy steel shaft, rotating on roller and ball bearings, running in oil
within a dustproof housing. Transfers power smoothly, without friction thereby eliminating
wear.

4. ENCLOSED BALL THRUST BEARINGS - Ball thrust bearings of the enclosed, lubricated type
are used to eliminate side thrust to a minimum and reduce friction.

5. BEARING PROTECTION - The packing glands on the Anchor mixers are similar to those
used on high pressure reciprocating steam engines. The special extra wide graphite packing
is compressed against the rotating shaft, polishing it to a mirror-like finish. This
lead-proof construction also prevents oil or grease from working into the mixture. Easy
adjustment insured the continual effectiveness of this most important feature.

6. PROTECTIVE SPACE - The more than ample distance between the packing gland and bearing
allows the shaft to be seen every time the contents of the drum is dumped and therefore
indicates when packing needs adjustment. This is important because no bearing made will
withstand the grinding action of sand, lime and water. After years of service the original
packing can easily be replaced thereby insuring lifelong bearing protection.

7. BRONZE BUSHINGS - Bronze bearings are used as the main bearings of the heavy
duty alloy steel paddle shaft. This type of bearing tends to polish shaft, preventing
scoring and gouging.

8. HINGED HOUSING - The exclusing one piece hinged housing gives complete
protection to all working parts. There are no doors or extra pieces to get lost or damaged.

9. GREATER ACCESSIBILITY - When the house is in the open position, the engine and
working parts are fully exposed allowing easy starting, convenient access to gas tank,
oil drain and refill plugs, etc., without the use of any special tools, pipes or funnels.

10. CLUTCH LEVER - The power of the engine can be quickly disengaged by the
conveniently located clutch lever which is within easy reach of the operator from
either side of the mixer.

11. EASY TO DUMP - Accurately machined, lubricated pivots make dumping of the
mixture easy. Drum can also be dumped toward the charging side for cleaning or upside
down for protection from inclement weather.

12. CUTS LABOR COSTS - One man, mixing with an Anchor mixer can mix a better
grade of mortar. On small jobs the services of the man operating the mixer can be
used in other work. The superior type of mix allows easier spreading, resulting in
greater output.

13. SAFETY FEATURES - Our bag guards are OSHA approved and we are the only mixer
that provides belt guards for your safety at no additional cost. Our tires are
20" Pneumatic for the Series 400, 600, 1000, 1200 & 1500 mixers and 25" pneumatic tires for the Series 2000 & 3000 mixers. Our raised attachment
that is an option on Anchor mixer raised the dumping height eight (8) inches. You don't
have to shore up the machine with blocks - you dump directly into the wheel barrel.

14. INTERCHANGEABILITY - Large volume assembly line production requires precision
in all parts and assemblies. Therefore, any future replacements are easily made with
parts that fit perfectly. To meet different power requirements on any job, the optional
engines including any type of electric motor, can be interchanged quickly without any
structural change.

| 16. ANTI THEFT LOCKING DEVICE - You place it in the front channel where the tow
shaft goes. Then you secure it behind the tow shaft bracket with the lock.
